About this Piper Super Cruiser

  • It was purchased new from the factory in Lockhaven, PA, by Ernie Hall in 1947.

  • This three-seat airplane was one of Ernie Hall’s personal planes.

  • Approximately 60 years ago, Claude Mook became the second owner of this aircaft and is the current owner.

Our Goals

  • To raise $50,000 to acquire and completely restore this 1947 Piper Super Cruiser. We have raised the funds needed to buy the airplane and now we are in the restoration process. Fundraising continues for restoration.

  • To display the airplane at the Ernie Hall Aviation Museum.

  • To offer airplane rides to two passengers at one time raising funds for the museum.
